Feng Shui Tip of the Month-Family

The middle left hand corner/section of your home when standing facing the entrance is the chen section, or the Family section. See Bagua under home consultation page. The color for this section is Green. The element is Wood. The Family section directly relates to your extended family; your mother, father, brothers, aunts, etc. Is there harmony, unity and peace in your family? Take a look at what is in your family section of your home, and then take a look at what is going on in your family dynamic. Make sure that this area is free from clutter and disorganization. Enhancements to place in this section are silk or live, vibrant indoor trees and plants; anything in the color green or made of the element - wood; and anything that symbolizes the meaning of your family. I’ll share my own personal enhancement; the kitchen in my home is located partly in the family section, and I enhanced this section by painting the inside walls of my pantry in Ralph Lauren “Kauai” green. It is a light and peaceful green. And we all want our family to be just that; light and peaceful. And finally, photos of your family are best kept in this section if possible. This is a great month for these changes and enhancements; just in time for the preparation for the holidays that are coming up in the next few months.

October is also a "seed" time, indicating that the energy is now available for you to accomplish anything you set out to do. Blockages to your success will now be removed, and you can move forward with confidence. Find inner strength to step forward, put your ideas into action, with the knowledge that success awaits you.
