All of my Feng Shui Consultations include a look into numerology, and one aspect is the number of your house which can tell you what energy or vibration your home carries. So how do you break down a number? The actual number is the most important. If you live in an apartment, it’s the number on your door, or apartment number. For example, 1229 Rolling Stone Run adds up to a 5. (1+2+2+9=14 which then 14 breaks down to 1+4=5)

House of 1- A place to establish independence. You will be motivated and can forge ahead doing the best at whatever you choose to do. You’ll have confidence and can achieve excellence.

House of 2- The two home encourages Love and Partnership. Feng Shui enhancements for Harmony and Peace would be perfect in this home, because the home seeks peace. You should have candles, music, plants, flowers, any kind of natural beauty in the home of 2. This is also a place to tap into your intuition and trust your inner voice, because you’ll find more spirituality than usual. The house of 2 is also very nurturing for relationships. The other thing about a 2 home, it’s the kind of home where you can never have enough. If you have a party, there’s always more than enough food or more than enough people because there’s such a need to make everyone feel welcome.

House of 3- It’s a place of expression and communication. There will be plenty of laughter here and enjoyment of each other. Everyone who comes in will feel welcome. It is a home of unconditional love and celebration. It’s a great place for entertaining. You also will find passion here. Try to stay away and be careful of getting into debt and work out any abundance issues and do abundance affirmations daily. Open your hands up and say “I am open and receptive to all the good and abundance in the Universe”. Also having Feng Shui wealth cures are quite beneficial.

House of 4- Energy of the home- Place of safety. The 4 home represents security. There will be a sense of peace and a feeling of “I’m okay”. The 4 house is grounded; it’s all about earth. There should be a garden or flowers in the yard. Definitely have plants in the house. The 4 home is solid, and there is a great foundation, which makes people feel protected. It’s a home to seek knowledge and become better at whatever you have chosen as a career. The 4 is also a house of service, so it is good to have get-togethers and meetings in. There will be a feeling of constantly working. If you’re going to college and have to study a lot, the house of 4 would be an ideal location, but please remember to enjoy yourself from time to time. You really have to be silly once in a while, so find ways to keep yourself amused. Remember to loosen up and have fun.

House of 5- House of entertainment, parties and drama. It’s just non-stop. It’s vibrant and alive. The people living here are involved in all kinds of activities. Celebrating Holidays. It has to be beautiful and enchanting. You definitely feel alive and passionate there. If you are in a partnership, be sure to converse about your feelings so that your needs are being met in the relationship. The 5 house is going to make you aware of what is lacking. The 5 house exudes a feeling of excitement and acts like an anti-depressant. Your instincts will be good in a house of 5 and you are keen to your surroundings.  

House of 6- Energy of the home- Beauty and Warmth- Striking home, a terrific place to raise children. Children will feel taken care of and be willing to listen and learn from you. This is also a place to effectively run your company out of your home. When people walk into a house of 6, they feel taken care of. If there was a word of caution for you and your 6 home, it would be, don’t give so much that eventually you’re exhausted and drained and feel no one’s giving back. Be sure to embrace the peacefulness and harmony of the home. Since 6 energies tend to stay home, make sure you don’t just go home to your refuge and stop having company; invite people in. What we are all seeking is a place to call home, and in a house of 6, you can find that. Having acceptance for others is easy in the house of 6.

House of 7- The house of 7 is a home where you can contemplate life and look deep inside yourself. The adventure is within. There will be a real need to start investigating and reading different books. Learning more about who you are and what you are doing. The 7 energy is one that needs to find faith. This is a great place for a doctor, a scientist, or student who has to become an expert in their field. This is also a place to study your dreams and visions. People find they have more intuition than usual in a house of 7. This is not a home for people who seek materially. If you would like to alter the energy for more material wealth, you can always add a letter “A” to that energy making it an 8. You do have a tendency to feel like a loner in the house of 7. The 7 energy encourages you to be alone with nature and your thoughts. If you are in a relationship, make an extra effort to communicate with your partner.

House of 8- Energy of home encourages you to strive for financial freedom, doing things that make a difference on a grander scale. Represents abundance coming in all areas in your life. This is a powerful house, a great home for people who have managerial or organizational skills. They can prosper and benefit in a house of 8. This is also a home that is usually decorated beautifully or has a quality of elegance to it. If you have children, make sure they feel appreciated. If you have a wife, take the time to send her flowers and other romantic gestures so there is no growth of resentment. Feng Shui enhancements for Love are most beneficial in a house of 8.

House of 9- Energy of the home- House of the Humanitarian. If you live in a house of 9, people look to you for advice or counsel because it is a much evolved house. People who live in it should feel blessed and want to make a difference. A house of 9 is a selfless vibration where you feel the need to give to others while living there. It puts you in touch with the universal truth. Understand that what you give is what you get back. It’s a very charitable home to be in and people will always be drawn to you while living in a 9 home. You might also be visited by people from your past. If you were upset with your parents, or other family, this might be the time to write letters of forgiveness, to let go, to tie up all these loose ends and clear things out. This is not a home to have clutter, but a place where you need to make room for new things coming in. It’s all about the abundance of the universe and trusting the process is inevitably going to effect you in a great way. You are in touch with your Holy Spirit or your Higher Power, and as a result you can change the world for the better in a house of 9. Chances are in this house you can see what’s good in people, because we all have positive and negative sides.
