Every month, I will
connect with spirit guides and tune in, providing both a spirit guide
connection and affirmation for the month. May your heart and mind be open to
receiving.

Holiday Feng Shui Tips 2006
The in-style colors for Winter 2006 are brown,
gold, and light pale blues/grays. In Feng Shui, Brown stands for
stability, grounding, long-established enduring qualities and elegance.
The pale blue represents heavenly peace, hope and new beginnings. One of
my personal favorites, Blue painted on the ceilings (with or without
clouds) symbolize heavenly peace and the ascent of prayer. Grey can be
incorporated for peace and harmony, resolving conflict in the home,
which is perfect for the Holiday Season!
Painting a feature wall in your home in a strong
color is excellent Feng Shui. Choose a wall in living or dining room. A
gold or golden wall is a great color and stands for health, love,
romance, and a strong healthy marriage. You can also use a yellow hue.
Decorative bowls are in-style this season - Bowls
should be fat looking and have a definite rim. When left empty, this
signifies the bowl is ready to receive prosperity and abundance into
your life. And when made of earth-based material such as porcelain,
crystal or ceramic, they are believed to bring in grounding energy and
that of building strong foundations for the New Year. You can, however,
fill them with something that you love like water with floatable
flowers, gold rocks, crystals, etc.; representing an offering and
attracting auspicious energy.
Christmas lights provide a warm glow and can be
placed in a crystal or glass bowl and then be plugged in. This is a
fabulous Feng Shui enhancement that not only provides great uplifting
energy but creates a nice ambience. These lights can be used all year
round.
More Gold- a small mound of gold rocks (you can
use gold spray paint) placed in the garden or by the front door and/or
gold lights on either the Christmas tree, indoor or outdoor trees, will
bring in prosperity luck and good fortune! Luminous golden light
indicates the power of the mind and creativity that will encourage you
with marked clarity thus creating new resolutions in your life. The
brown trunk of the tree, represents grounding energy. It also represents
our spine, holding us upright, acting as a channel for our energy
enabling us to carry the weight of our life. Sap coming from any tree
represents your life is abundant with hope.
Mistletoe is considered a sacred, even mystical,
plant and is associated with fertility of the home and people around it.
It also represents endurance, longevity and triumph over obstacles.
Lions- Lion energy surround this holiday, so why
not incorporate them? My suggestion is Lions or Fu dogs placed at the
front entrance; Lions are protective, powerful and majestic. Fu Dogs
offer protection as well; from evil, sickness and bad chi from entering
your domain. This provides great and clear energy coming into the mouth
of your home.
